A television exec with 20+ years experience as an independent producer and in the BBC, Mike brings his leadership and passion for community work to Draper Together. A Trustee since the inception, now as its Chair, Mike works closely with the Director to bring to life the inspiring vision that started this important project.
Finance and Governance Trustee
Comes from a Financial Services and Commodity sector background. ACCA affiliate member, graduated from London Metropolitan University in Accounting and Finance. Passionate about contributing towards local community and making noticeable improvement through governance.
Peter Wright is a local resident passionate to support initiatives that improve the lives of local people. As such Peter has been a great supporter of Draper Together since its initiation and became a Trustee in December 2017.
His skills in community management, event organisation and theatre stage management have made him a valuable member of the Board of Trustees and a vital support to the many initiatives and events held at Draper Hall.
Chair Draper Residents Association Committee
Born in Surrey to a British Mother and an Italian Father, I was raised and schooled in Rome, Italy and grew up bilingual.
A founding member of the Draper Residents Association, the organisation that gave life to Draper Together, I have held an executive position there ever since and am currently its Chairperson.
I have been working as an Archive Producer in television production since the early '90s andhave been involved in the Draper Film Academy, a precursor of the current Draper Film and Music Academy.
Kat has been a resident of Draper House since 2009. She was actively involved with the Draper Residents Association for 3 years before becoming a Trustee and Secretary for DT. She regularly leads various projects from craft groups to computer classes and feels passionate about building a strong community on the Draper estate and wider community. Kat has always had a great interest for craft: initially she was taught sewing by her seamstress mother, then she trained in tailoring and textile restoration and since 1998 hat-making for which she is currently in the process to join The Guild of Master Craftsmen.
Spencer Rowell is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, artist and lecturer.
He has a private practice and volunteers offering psychotherapy. He is particularly interested in working with addicts and their families. He is passionate about the provision of services within a community setting that serve to improve mental health, with special interest in art therapy. He has published his PhD thesis on psychoanalysis and photography.
